To Us, Design Matters Most.

Our Founder, Salvatore Carrabba, has an extensive background in sculpture and design. In the 90s, Sal applied his artistic background and designer eye to create furniture to support his own electronics, and Salamander was born. Today, we believe when furnishing a home or commercial space, this keen, forward-thinking design detail matters the most. Our customizable pieces are the perfect integration of form, function and aesthetics. And we’ve been perfecting it for decades – just for you.

From our 85,000-square-foot solar-powered facility in Bloomfield, Connecticut, our long-standing, passionate team handcrafts most all our products right here in the USA. We combine old-world craftsmanship with modern lean manufacturing to ensure every piece is made to order, sustainably built and precision finished.
